DocsHub is undergoing a major overhaul.

We know the documentation is inconsistent, outdated in places, and not aligned with the new ZFordDev Standards. A full rebuild is now underway to deliver clearer structure, more accurate information, and dramatically improved indexing. Expect significant improvements across the entire DocsHub over the coming weeks.

SnapDock 3

SnapDock 3 is the next major evolution of the SnapDock editor — a modern, refined, and more capable version of the writing experience people already love.
It introduces a refreshed UI, improved performance, and a cleaner internal architecture that supports future enhancements without changing SnapDock’s core identity.

Full documentation for SnapDock 3 is currently in development.

Development Status

SnapDock 3 is in active development.
The focus is on:

  • UI/UX improvements
  • editor workflow refinements
  • performance and stability
  • modernizing the codebase
  • preparing the foundation for SnapDock‑Pro

This is an iterative improvement of the existing app — not a rewrite in another language.

The Vision for V3

SnapDock 3 is a re‑imagining of what a calm, modern Markdown workspace can be.

The goals are simple:

  • A cleaner, more polished interface
  • A faster, more stable editor
  • A smoother writing workflow
  • A foundation that can grow into SnapDock‑Pro

SnapDock 3 keeps everything people love about SnapDock 2.x, while removing friction and modernizing the experience.

Planned Highlights

Redesigned UI

A cleaner, more modern interface built around clarity, speed, and visual polish.

Improved Architecture

A refreshed internal structure enabling features and performance improvements not possible in the 2.x Classic Edition.

Workflow Enhancements

Better tab handling, improved preview controls, cleaner menus, and more intuitive editor behavior.

Future‑Ready

SnapDock 3 is the base for SnapDock‑Pro and future workspace tools — without adding complexity to the core editor.
